Photobook Necklaces
These pieces are a cooperative effort with Angel Lips Photography in Grayslake, IL. We create wearable miniature photo books using photos from a sitting at Angel Lips Photography or copies of your original prints or digital media. The Photo Books are constructed from patinated copper or sheet nickel. Up to 5 photographs in color, sepia or black and white are bound into each Photo Book. Each one is custom made with a “window” in the front cover to reveal a portion of the first image. A leather necklace is fabricated to suspend the art piece around your neck.Use these pieces to capture a moment in time such as the birth of a child, a wedding, a special vacation, family pets, etc. They make wonderful gifts for new moms, grandmothers, wedding party members or mothers of the bride. I like to refer to mine as my contemporary grandma’s brag book.
